Our Final Ward Pinewood Derby!!.... until Crew
Blake had another awesome fast car.
This was the first time Blake's car had been truly beaten in a ward race! He came in 2nd in the pack and first in his den. 
Blake went on to the district pinewood derby. Fixed up the car a little more to make it faster and took 3rd overall and 1st place in Weblos. That was ROCKIN!! The council cancelled their race this year which was a total bummer. Blake was really looking forward to that race since last year he won a mountain bike. He was also looking forward to racing his cousin Tyrus at the council race. They had both worked on their cars together. Tyrus's car won his pinewood derby and his stake derby by a landslide! We were really excited for him too!! Way to go boys and dad!This was one of the races at our ward derby. Notice how the boys chant for Blake's car. They have come to know he will have a speedy racer! BLAKE, BLAKE, BLAKE, BLAKE!!
TALENT SHOW TIME!!
Ashlyn and Blake participated at their school talent show this year. Blake's class did a skit/song/dance on showing respect at the talent show. They did it to a Beegies song "Night Fever". It was cute. They were the opening act.
Ashlyn sang and danced to "I Enjoy Being a Girl". This was her first time performing it... solo on stage!!! She really did great and as you can see she looked dang cute!
